Redhill town reports for wkend 29-30th Jan

This week I am afraid I have been a bit slow at getting this up and unfortunately there are no images due to a busy weekend. How ever everything will be back to normal next week.

Redhill Town U9 1 - 4 Afc Ewell B Cup Match

Redhill Town U9 get knocked out of the cup, with a 4-1 loss to AFC Ewell B.
The first half saw a closely fought end to end game with some brilliant wing play by Joshua Jeffrey. Redhill Town won a penalty 10mins into the match, which was powered home by Tom Hiscock, to score his 10th goal of the season. AFC equalised with an own goal to go in 1-1 at half time.
The second saw another end to end, all out attack tactics to try and get that all important lead. The Redhill Town goalkeeper had a very busy day at the office, making many great saves and keeping his team in the game, but it was AFC Ewell B who managed to put their chances away and scored three more goals to knock Redhill Town out of the cup, to make a 4-1 final score.
Man of the match: Adam Barber

Wolves U14’s 0- 3 Redhill Town U14b

Redhill made a brilliant start with two breaks in the first two minutes of the game being unlucky not to score.  even though wolves pressed hard, redhill battled on and kept dominating.  after 15 minutes of the first half gone, redhill were eager to score but were unlucky after a great attempt by adam which was hit out by their goalkeeper and followed up by jordan only to skim over the crossbar.  redhills goal finally came when bradley scored from a great attack by all players.  redhill continued pressing for the remainder of the first half and managed to break the wolves defence with cezar scoring redhills second goal a minute before half time.
during the second half, redhill kept the pace up with great defending and attacking, keeping the pressure on at all times.  after several unlucky misses and a goal mouth scramble bradley scored a superb goal.  wolves pressed hard against redhills defence and had several chances on goal but to the great efforts of goalkeeper james the score remained the same.
both teams played a fantastic game with redhill keeping the pressure on to secure their victory.

Redhill Town u16 3 – 0 Ashstead A

A fine goalkeeping performance by Josh McCarthy and a first goal of the season for Ryan Seymour help Redhill Town U16s to victory over Ashtead A.
Redhill were quick out of the blocks and a good interchange with Tom Webber saw Ashley Maybard coolly slot home for the opener.  Maynard soon added a second after a great through ball from Conor O Donovan.
After the break, Ashtead came more in to the game and Josh McCarthy was called on to make a string of fines saves.  Ryan Seymour exploded in to the box from left back to make it 3 nil.
Determined to keep a second clean sheet in a row Redhill's back four withstood the final attack from Ashtead to make it a comfortable 3 nil victory.
