More mixed results this weekend, some winners, some losers, but the most important thing is every enjoyed it.
Redhill Town 1st team Home game at the ring.
The match kicked off at 2pm at the ring and proved to be almost as exciting as any premier league match. Redhill took the lead in the first half and looked like they were going to win, but unfortunately the opposition were too determined. Final score was 2 all.
Although the U9’s went down by a 4-0 scoreline, the result doesn’t really tell the story. If it was not for 3 superb saves by the
The second half started badly for Redhill with Reigate scoring straight from the kick with an unstoppable shot into the top corner. Redhill still had chances but the Reigate keeper was in an unbeatable mood and with Redhill chasing the game, Reigate broke again and scored a third. Just before the end a Reigate free-kick was floated high into the penalty area and found its way into the back of the net. The final score-line flattered the hosts really.
Redhill Town U10A bounce back this weekend with a superb 4-0 win over Hearts of Teddlothian Pumas.
The match started with plenty of close chances from both teams, until Joshua Jeffery hit a great shot passed the keeper to take the lead after 10mins. Tom Hiscock scores Redhill Town 's second goal from a corner kick which the goalkeeper tumbled in the net, to go in at half-time 2-0 up.
The second half saw Redhill Town totally show their class and dominance, with a great burst through by Luke Stevens to fire the ball into the goal, to make it 3-0.There were some brilliant mid-field play from Hadyn Puttick and Joshua Bayode and great goalkeeping from Adam Barber. Horsley FC 'C' 4 v 2 Redhill Town FC u10 'B'
Horsley started well and Town keeper Ben Payne had to be at his best to deny the home team early on before they raced to a 3-0 half time lead.
After the break, Redhill took control and Keeran Kirupakaran reduced the arrears only for Horsley to extend their lead with a 20 yard screamer. However, Redhill skipper Reuben Newland rallied the troops and their efforts were duly rewarded when Sam Krisman placed the ball calmly past the Horsley keeper for Town's second.
U11s
Redhill Town U11s started slow and looked slightly overwhelmed but after a half time talk the second half performance was very promising and the reds held the visitors off showing the team are collectively developing in their new roles
Ashtead Colts A U12s 6 Redhill Town U12s 1
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Redhill suffered another demoralising defeat when they really should have got more out of the game.
Ashtead took the lead after 18 minutes, but Redhill were back in the game 5 minutes later, as Jack Tickner outmuscled the defence to slot home.
Ashtead re-took the lead 4 minutes into the second half, and Redhill then squandered several opportunities to draw level, including Tom Parker’s long-range effort which hit the post.
Ashtead extended their lead in the 38th minute, and as Redhill heads went down Ashtead added 3 more goals in the final 10 minutes.
Redhill U12s are still looking for more players and anyone interested should contact manager Anthony Reynolds on 01737 212103 or 07825 442317 for more information.

Redhill U17’s 3 V 2 NPL Youth u17’s .
Redhill U17s had a deserved 3-2 victory over a strong NPL Youth side in the Epsom and Ewell Premier division.
Goals in the first half from Connor Jonson and Ashley Maynard put Redhill in the driving seat. NPL pulled one back just before half time.
The second half was a more closely contested but a fine goal from Ryan Gasson saw Redhill ease ahead again. NPL pulled another goal back late on but Redhill remained solid to take the victory
Redhill girls had a tough game on a big pitch against experienced opposition and despite going down a couple of early goals the girls battled really well to keep in the game. Zoe Stevens made a couple of great saves and Redhill made a couple of chances themselves to relieve the pressure. Kew were 4-0 up when a great move and a determined run by Daniela Fisherova gave Redhill their moment of the match. A great shot from just inside the penalty area found its way into the corner of the net. Kew scored just before half time to lead 5-1. The second half saw a goalkeeper change and a massive drop kick from Jenna Madan gave Hannah King the chance to score but the defence just got back in time. The first 20 minutes of the second half was a very tight affair and Kew scored just one in this period, while Redhill created a couple of great chances with the Kew goalkeeper making a great save, and then another big kick from Jenna Madan put Hannah King through on the goalkeeper but the keeper managed to block the shot. As the girls tired on a big pitch Kew managed to finish the game off convincingly but the girls should be proud of their performance.
